Marching For Fausa
WAYEOK – West African Youth Empowerment Organisation Kokrobite
Marching for Fausa is set in Songi, capital city of the Federal Republic of Songhai, a populous country on the west coast of Africa. A young journalist and photographer, Telani Balarabe, is investigating the disappearance of a group of schoolchildren, arrested by the State Security Service during a public demontration.
The reason for the demontraction is Fausa, a young girl who was sold into marriage to the Minister of Cultural Affairs. Her class mates took to the streets and demonstrated against forced marriages.
